We are very happy to announce that our third studio album named “GLASS STEPS” is released by “Nota Bene Records. Album is recorded, mixed and mastered in Split, Croatia based studio “Propeler” owned byJan Ivelic. The album contains 11 original compositions.
Miro Alduk (guitar) is composer of 9 compositions, while 2 are signed by Ivan Bozicevic (keyboard). Arrangements are done by all members of Waveform band.
This is first Waveform album without any guest musicians and played entirely by band members, and we hope that you will like it.
Sa zadovoljstvom predstavljamo naš treći studijski album pod nazivom “GLASS STEPS” u izdanju “Nota Bene Records”. Album je sniman, miksan i masteriran u splitskom studiju “Propeler” vlasnika Jana Ivelića te sadrži 11 autorskih skladbi.
Miro Alduk je kompozitor na 9 skladbi a dvije potpisuje Ivan Božičević dok u aranžmanima sudjeluje kompletan Waveform bend.
Ovo je ujedno i naš prvi album bez gostujućih glazbenika odsviran isključivo od članova benda te se nadamo da će vam se svidjeti.
About Band
Waveform is next generation progressive Jazz Fusion band. Their music revolves around their own authoring stuff, but as well their interpretation of well known Jazz and Jazz Fusion standards. Music they perform is progressive jazz and rock fusion with some blues influences.
Band is founded 2007 by guitarist Miro Alduk and drummer Jan Ivelic, who where then joined by bass player Neno Miškec, keyboard and piano player Ivan Bozicevic and as a guest member experienced sax player Dražen Bogdanović to form this band of highly skilled and experienced professionals. In the mean time Neno Miskec left band and his position is taken by bass prodigy Ante Jurinovic who is present band member.
Waveform are based in Split/Croatia, and all band members are highly ranked and experienced professional musicians. Parallel with being Waveform members they are regarded as some of the best session and touring musicians in Croatia and whole region. They recorded and performed with many stars touring as far as Australia, America and whole Europe.
On stage Waveform bring memorable live show of pure energy and enjoyment, and they successfully performed number of Jazz festivals and own gigs/concerts. If you have chance you should definitely check their live performance as that is something to be remembered.
Currently band is recording their second album which is expected to be released at Autumn 2012.

Waveform je osnovan u rujnu 2007. godine na inicijativu Mira Alduka i Jana Ivelića. Ubrzo snimaju demo materijal, nakon čega se bandu priključuje renomirani saksofonist Dražen Bogdanović. U siječnju 2008. bandu pristupa basist Neno Miškec, a u svibnju i klavijaturist Ivan Božičević.
Ova fusion jazz grupacija bilježi uspješne nastupe na 4. Jazz Festival u Samoboru, Adria Festivalu u Šibeniku, te 2. Jazz Festivalu u Šibenku. Tijekom ljeta 2008. uspješno nastupaju ljetnim pozornicama i gradskim trgovima, a u rujnu 2008. potpisuju diskografski ugovor za Aquarius Records. Sredinom 10. mjeseca ulaze u splitski studio “Deva” te, uz sveusrdnu pomoć vlasnika studija Dade Marušića, započinju snimanje autorskog materijala. Autori svih kompozicija i aranžmana su Miro Alduk i Jan Ivelić. Album “Waveform” Aquarius Records objavljuje u ožujku 2009. U međuvremenu band napušta basist Neno Miškec, a zamjenjuje ga mladi basist Ante Jurinović, student Jazz Akademije u Klagenfurtu, poznat po nastupu sa legendarnim Joeom Zawinulom.
Waveform će u svom gradu promovirati album nastupom u sklopu Split Music Faira, dok će zagrebačku promociju održati u jednom od gradskih jazz kutaka, o čemu ćemo Vas na vrijeme obavijestiti.
